Volunteers Needed

As you know we are in the middle of a campaign to gather 57,000 certified signatures so that our proposed ballot initiative will get on the 2009 ballot.

We urgently need 100 committed medical marijuana activists to commit to a full day of VOLUNTEERING at the polls on Tuesday, June 10th when Maine holds its state primary. And we need you to commit to securing the VOLUNTEER services of 1 friend for the same day.

As many of you already know, we are running on extremely limited funds for signature collection. Our current available funding will not get us the full number of signatures via the paid signature gatherer route.

If we can get 100 people to the polls to collect as VOLUNTEERS for this day, we will be able to add nearly 20,000 signatures to our totals in just one day. This will put us within striking distance for our final goal and securing our spot on the 2009 ballot.

In late May we will assign you a poll location convenient to you and provide all the materials ahead of time. (Once you have secured 1 friend to share your commitment, please provide to us their name, email, phone, and mailing address and we will follow up.)
